It seems like she is totally innocent and not deserving of her fate and this is where I just can’t play it anymore. So far, it seems like the MC may be paying for the “crimes” of her parents or someone else. I think it would be easier for me to enjoy if the MC was unlikable, and while I find the MC kind of bland, she obviously is intelligent and has worked hard to be successful in her career. And while this is a totally realistic and believable reaction by the MC, it makes it really uncomfortable to watch. She clearly hates all of this and is being mentally wrecked by this entire ordeal even though her body betrays her again and again due to the pill they force her to take every morning. It’s a bit too intense for me and I would imagine others as well. There are a nice variety of models and each character has a purpose with a unique personality. While the whole scenario and setting is totally unbelievable, the dev goes all in on it and makes it work in the “universe” they have created. The dev sticks to his blackmail storyline almost religiously which ends up working. The problem with SR, is that I connect too well to the MC. This is a game I should really like, but the more I have been playing these games/vns the more I find myself looking for a good story and characters I can connect to. Honestly im mostly here for the corruption part rather than all that blackmails going on, even then game is still very enjoyable. A Kiss For The Petals – Remembering How We Met The change RPGM to Renpy is always welcome and appreciated (y). Gotta say its amazing how far it got, dev definitely improved himself over time along with the game. I’ve been here since this vn first published in here. The gameplay is ok, standard renpy vn, just make sure you read carefully and click everything that can be click (especially on the map). Nice animations, and with moans sounds, which makes this game better than a lot of other games that dont have it. Really nice characters, i think need a bit of work with facial feature, but still nice. The humiliation in this game is top notch, with the story that kind of makes sense, this game should get more exposure. That said – if you just wanna get off staring at mediocre (but plentiful) rendered sex scenes then you hit the jackpot. Lots of naked girls and massive dicks doing things to them and a weird disconnect from actual personalities that makes the whole thing feel plasticy. An entire building full of guys abusing girls on the daily and making some semblance of doing deals with other morally corrupt people. There is no sense of connection to reality at all. I've always been interested in learning some kind of coding, but it felt a little overwhelming and I figured I'd lose interest unless I found a coding project that aligned with my personal interests.Special Request Official Ren’Py Edition Free Download RepacklabĪnyone wondering whether to play this game or not should know one thing right up front – it has a TON of content and none if it could ever happen in the real world. (I'd love to review it on the video game forum, but I don't think it would pass moderator muster.) Last month I discovered an adult interactive video novel that I've played several times and have really enjoyed it - it's kind of a sexy Endless Quest book. I enjoyed it enough to do a little research into how the game's creator built it. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it uses the "Ren'Py" engine, and it's a free download. I watched a tutorial that walked through how to create a simple branching story which included graphics and music. I'm intrigued! I'm a (lightly) published short story writer and it seemed like this could be a way to vent creative energy while learning a form of coding.ĭo any of you use it? Any advice for new users? Any Ren'Py novels you're working on or would recommend? #Renpy editra endings how to# (Both self-coded, and in Inkle Studios' tool ink ink is more limited, being a pure stream of text, but I thought I should point it out.) I haven't used Ren'py, but I have done some work with interactive fiction. Ren'py is based on Python, and there are plenty of resources out there for that language. I don't know how necessary it would be starting out, because Ren'py looks like it's got enough resources to get started. Do some Python courses (you'll find plenty online for free) you'll soon discover that what you were doing has more nuance than you were aware.īut once you've got comfortable with basic functionality, I'd advise branching out. Start looking at other Ren'py projects I'm sure people are posting their source code all over the place. Read the Ren'py manual beyond the Quickstart section. Start thinking about stat-driven games, where behind-the-scenes data and calculations are important.
